We would like to welcome you to our information page. We have put this page together to answer some frequently asked questions about deposits, shipping, and other health topics, and to share some of our expectations of dog owners with you. We hope this helps you understand the process of buying a puppy from us.

First of all, We want you to know that very few breeders are going to love their puppies, and spend as much time with them as we do. We want for all our puppies to be in good loving homes with families that appreciate them. We do not knowingly sell to Brokers, Petshops, or Puppy mills! So please do not ask!  We are always available after the puppy comes to live with you to answer any questions you might have and help in any way we can. We do care what happens to our puppies and we try to get them in the best homes possible.

Deposits:

1.) If you buy a puppy from us. We do have a contract we expect everyone to sign.
2.) All of our puppies are registered with AKC (American Kennel Club). www.akc.org
3.) You need to also be aware, that puppies need to receive all ot their vaccinations (4 months of age) before you take them to high traffic areas where dogs go to the bathroom, like parks, and rest areas, along with pet stores. Even though a puppy has had it's shots, it can still get sick, so be careful. I would avoid these areas if at all possible. Don't let your puppy ever chew on your shoes either. Their can be lots of virus's and bacteria from the ground on your shoes.
4.) Feed a good quality puppy food for the puppies first year. We feed  www.canidae.com for all life stages. There are several other really good brands of dog food, we would be happy to discuss with you if you are interested. Miniature Dachshunds especially should not be allowed to become extemely overweight. This can shorten their life by several years, hurt their backs, and lead to other health problems down the road. Please be aware that feeding your table scraps to a dachshund can lead to a health issue as well.
5.) If for some reason, you can not keep your dog, please contact us first. We may be able to help you place the dog in a different loving home, or even care for the dog ourselves, until it can be placed in a different home. Please do not take your dog to a shelter!
6.) We require a $500.00 Non-Refundable deposit to hold any puppy of your choice and then at 6 weeks of age  the reamaining balance is due and must be paid before any dog/puppy is released out of our care. If you have not made arrangements to pick up your puppy by 8 weeks of age then you will have forfeited your $500.00 Non-Refundable deposit and the puppy will be placed back up for sale.
7.) Puppies are not considered sold until the deposit of $500.00 has been received. Occasionally other arrangements can be worked out with us.
8.) Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE!!! Unless, the puppy fails a vet check or falls ill while in our care.
9.) Sorry, but we don't accept personal checks anymore at this time!
10.) You can make your payment in full or remaining balance of your puppy by Postal Money Order, Western Union, Walmart wire transfer or Cash.
11.) We must recieve full payment before any puppy is realeased out of our care or shipped.

SHIPPING AND PICKING UP YOUR PUPPY:

1.) Shipping is available to almost anywhere that has a major airport in the United States.  We use Alaskan, Delta or Continental Airlines.  Continental ships in a climate controlled cabin, instead of  the cargo area, so if you are having the puppy shipped to an airport they send live animals to , the temperature does'nt matter. But Continental does'nt ship live animals to all airports. Also as a reminder, you can fly your pet as a carry on with you. Please check with what airline you are flying with to see if they accept small pets as a carry on.
2.)The normal charge for shipping is $300.00. That includes the flight, crate, health certificate, and insurance. Please Note: These fees are subject to change at anytime.
3.) If you are close enough to drive, we will try our best to work with you to make it as easy as possible. Depending on the distance. A gas fee will apply to this.
4.)The total cost of shipping needs to be paid by one of the methods listed above one week prior to the expected shipping date, otherwise we may not be able to make the reservation on the agreed upon date.
5.) Last and Final, if you have any questions regarding any of this material you have read, please do not hesitate to email us. NOTE: Please check back with us often for we are always updating our website!

Thank you for your time and have a blessed and wonderful day!
